Retired Lieutenant Colonel USMC, beloved husband of the late Lorraine "Lola" (nee Hagen), loving father of Cindy (Tom) Dalton, Karen (Steve) Sullivan, Thomas (Debbie) Fleming, Robin Fleming, Karen (Ross) Conyers and Susan (Jeff) VanDamn, dear grandfather of eight, dearest son of Martha and the late Thomas Fleming, fond brother of the late John (LaVern) Fleming, uncle of many nieces and nephews., cousin and friend of many. Visitation 2 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday 9 a.m. from The John Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 7020 West 127th Street, Palos Heights, to St. Christopher Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery. My heart goes out to all his family on this tragic loss. He meant a lot to our family. I know the part that hurts the most is not being able to see and hear and talk to him again.But like other loved ones who've passed on,they never ever leave us.Each thought of them,each mention of thier name keeps them alive within all of us.And hopefully someday we will get to see and hear and talk to them again.
