Dear Marge & Family,
Tom loved you all.
I'm sorry I can't be there with you.

My favorite memories of Tom... when he was taking the cinders out of my elbow (I still have a few in there) and at my wedding....he said to Marge, "This is fun, we have to start hanging out with these guys!"

Those Dillon Boy's think they are so Funny!...and they were.
I hate this.

I hope this finds you all in good health and I hope we can all see each other soon.

Dear Aunt Marge, Sherry, Shelly & Shar,
Uncle Tom was such a good guy & the best Uncle to have! Our hearts are heavy and he will be missed. It was really a blessing to have such a great Uncle in our lives. He was always so kind, so funny and fun to be around. He always had a warm greeting and that witty sense of humor! He always took the time to talk to my kids, which just shows that he really was a "Great" Uncle in every sense of the word. I know how much you all loved him and just seeing how close and loving your family is reflects on what a truly special person he was. May the wonderful memories and good times shared bring you comfort. He will always live on in your hearts and in ours.
Love,
Mike, Kelly

Dear Margie,
Last night I heard the news of Tommy's death and I've been upset about it since. I am sure it's nothing compared to the pain of you and your family, but I loved him and thought of him as "the best".
I'm deeply sorry.
Sincerely,
Ken

Dear Aunt Margie and family
We are so saddened by the passing of Uncle Tom. It has been a very tough 6 months on all of you and knowing that he will no longer be suffering that battle anymore, still doesn't help ease the pain of losing someone so dear to your hearts. Uncle Tom, you will be missed so much. Our kids have such fond memories of you. TJ said yesterday, "I'm sad, he was so nice to me." Just the little things you did meant so much. You all have so many memories of him too. So many stories that we all love to hear. Just remember the signs he gave to all of you and knowing he will always be in your hearts will guide you and help you get through this difficult time. We all love you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Tom, Marcy and kids

Tom, and Jack and Bob, were like big brothers to us. I grew up wearing their hand-me-down clothes. A favorite is the story of the 3 sweaters Auntie Lu/Mimi bought them, all identical. They weren't very nice, kind of a green and brown color, they itched, and all three ended up in my closet. It took me years to grow through them. Now most often I hope I wear his wit and positive outlook as well as he did.
Tom didn't mind having a little cousin tag along. One summer evening he and his buddies were "crusin'" Evergreen. He was probably 15 or 16 so I was probably 6 or 7 and my little legs were having a hard time keeping up. He hoisted me up on his shoulder and carried me to a house in the neighborhood where suprise, surprise, there were a lot of girls waiting. Another time he and his buddies were taking the girls swimming at the lake and he had no trouble tossing me in the back seat and taking me along.
He gave me good advice before I went in the Army. He picked me up and drove me to my first day of work shortly after I got out and gave me good advice again.
I'm having trouble believing he's really gone but take comfort in my belief his life was made spectacular by his wife and three daughters.

Dear Marge and your beautiful family and a note to Tom,
Tom, you will be missed for your kindness you showed to everyone in your life. Your humor that always made everyone laugh and have so much fun when our family was together. You fought a tough battle and now your gone from all of us. Our hearts are filled with sadness, our eye's with tears but, what help's is to know your not in pain anymore and you've found peace. I'll always remember what NaNa once told me. "Our love one's that go before us are preparing a new home in heaven for all of us to be together again".
We'll be seeing you!
Love,
Ron & Kathy

Dear Margie and Family,
Our hearts are saddened with you over Tom's passing from this life to heaven. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you have been so recently. Margie, I loved your card a few weeks ago... it was good to hear from you in the midst of your constant care for Tom and yourself. It has been a long time of love and devotion to your hubbie that you love so much.

I am hoping to come to the visitation tomorrow; it's difficult when working full time. We are with you in spirit and know God has been and will continue to give you strength and comfort to carry on. We love you.
