Linda, and family......I remember all the fun times we shared after each day ended when I remodeled your home. Those times are never lost, I always think back when Tom was trying to get me drunk....and I would say not while I'm working, don't you want your home done and walls straight. All those times that great guy of yours busted his back helping me. I still think about the time he piled all that drywall in the bedroom and the house didn't collapse. I will miss those "Come on have another beer" You will be missed my friend. Jerry, Kathy, Patrick, Keri & Alysia Roberts

When I was a kid, Tom and Rick were heroes of mine. My older cousins. If our family was going to Tony and Rose's, my question was always, "Will Tom be there."
I'll never forget the day he had surgery for the clot on his brain. How euphoric we all felt when he came through it.
And of course I'll never forget all our Christmas Eves. The best day of the year. The Christmas after my Dad passed away- my Dad who loved Tom and who Tom so looked up to- we took Christmas Eve over from my Mom. Dad hadn't been gone long, and we all knew it wasn't going to be any easy one. I remember trying so hard to make it as merry as possible, trying to respect the absence of my Dad while still making it the holiday that we all so needed. And I remember everyone rallying in a way that I didn't think was possible. Like we were honoring my Dad by enjoying each other so much on this day that he always cherished.
I remember Tom leaving at the end of the night. We were laughing, sort of amazed at the wonderful time we had. And I think Tom knew how hard I had tried to make it work. Because when he was walking out the door, he shook my hand and said, "Merry Christmas." And then he looked at me with a big smile, and he said, "You're the man." Then he laughed. "You're the MAN!"
There's no way he could know how much that meant to me. My hero.
We send you all our love. So proud of all of you, the way you loved him and took care of him. What a great family.
Love,
Ron, Amy, Tony and Pauline Lazzeretti

Tom and I were best friends back at OLA. Played softball together. Hung out on the corner of Avers and Iowa. Last saw Tom at our Class of '68 reunion a couple of years ago. Didn't know how sick he was. So sad to hear this news. RIP old friend.

Corvo family, I have the fondest memories of the time we were fortunate enough to spend together. I truly cherish all the summers we were able to share up at Brindley's and doubt that my dad will ever find a better fishing partner... All of my love and deepest condolences.

Traveling throughout life, I often times encounter triggers that instantly transport me back to my childhood. I can be a smell, a thought, a word, a voice or a picture. To me just hearing the name Corvo transports me back to a time in my life of utter happiness and joyful child innocence.
I found out that Tom was ill, the same day I found out he had passed. Instantly upon seeing his name I was transported back to Franklin Park, on Sunset Lane to a birthday party in the back yard of my grandparents’ house.
Corvo.
Corvo Family, the way I remember it, meant togetherness, fellowship, love, *food*, and wonderful, wonderful Memories! I can remember Christmas parties at my Grandparents house, when my Grandfather would turn on the Christmas lights in the basement. They were there all year long, but at Christmas they were turned on to celebrate with the Corvo family. I remember one of my birthday parties, when the skies opened up and the rain poured down...and everyone started running into the house with all the food, and I seem to remember a picnic table taking the journey down the stairs to the basement, so we could continue the party out of the rain!
Memories.
Memories are what life is built on. Memories, at times, are all you have. As I look back on my life Tom is alive and vibrant in my memories - and I will keep him there safe and sound for any time I may want to transport back to a happier place. So many of our family have moved on to celebrate with us from another place. I know they are in heaven gathered together, welcoming Tom into the Kingdom in a manner only the Corvo family can. If I close my eyes I can see them all...every one of them. In my mind they are happy. Happy to see Tom again. The Christmas lights are on and the drinks are flowing, and the laughter is filling the air - and in the forefront of that vision, I can see a father, reunited with his son - and I can feel the weight on my heart right now of the love that was exchanged at the very moment they saw each other again.
Linda and Family, I'm so very sorry about Tom's passing and your loss. Just knowing Tom, I know he was loved. He was such a light, he put laughter in our hearts and a smile on our faces. I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
You are all in my thoughts and my prayers!

Dear Corvo Family
I know I haven't been in your lives and I am sorry for that. I keep thinking back to when the Corvo cousins were kids growing up and young adults. We were very close then and I will always remember Tom that way. He was a lot like his Father, a comedian and a good master of ceremonies.I remember taking him to the park one day when he was little. He was in a stroller. He got on a ride, fell off, and I wound up running home and he wound up with stitches. I felt so bad. He was one of a kind. I loved him very much and will miss him. Even tho I didn't see him much in recent years, he was always in my heart and I knew he was out there.
