Thomas Citta with friend René Kokmeyer, Vietnam, 1965

Thom was my best friend in Vietnam, we sailed together on Merchant Marine ship, General Leroy Eltinge in 1965. I left before Thom in 1966. I knew Thom was from Chicago, but had no address. Been trying to find Thom all these years and with the advent of the Internet, found Thom in this Obituary. I have video of Thom on the ship and wanted to share it with his loved ones, but I cannot find anyone listed here. I am listed on Facebook and Messenger.
I did find Thom's police partner's son, Neil Crotty, Jr. and spoke with him on Facebook but this became a dead end.

Heartfelt condolences to the Citta family.

Tom was an excellent Chicago policeman with whom I worked. He had a wonderful disposition, always pleasant and helpful. We would often attend the same Sunday Mass downtown immediately following our midnight shift. He never missed.

May the our Lord reward Tom for his faithful service.
