To the Bridgman family,

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Bridgman's passing. He was such a great man and I have so many fond memories of our times at BCC and growing up in your house. My Sister and I went down memory lane yesterday when we found out. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Pat and Family:
I am somewhat out of touch with Chicago but hearing just yesterday, Dec. 25th, put a sad feeling in our day. Pat, I am very sorry for your loss.

I loved your Dad very much and loved living most of my young life down the street from all of you on Pleasant. Your house felt like a second home to me and all of you were extended family. Your Dad always had a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, and could always make me laugh. He was such a great man. Strong yet gentle, a rare and wonderful combination. I know that he is smiling down on all of you and is with you forever. Our loss if heaven's gain. You are all deep in my heart, thoughts and prayers.

Tom was truly a wonderful man. His smile could light an entire building--and it was a reflection of his great, big heart! He was a great lawyer, a great Chicagoan, a great Irishman and a great man. I'm sure Our Lord has a huge smile and bear-hug for him too!
