Theodora Stanko-Haizlip Obituary

'Teddi' Theodora Jean won her final battle with cancer when she went home to be with her Savior, Friday, Dec. 7, 2001. Teddi was born June 23, 1950, in Saginaw, MI to Verna Gordon and Edward Stanko. She earned her BS degree and completed work for her Master's degree in counseling at Southern Nazarene University, Bethany. Teddi worked as Executive Secretary at SNU's Office of Student Development where she loved serving the Lord, SNU and God's students. She loved making the piano sing and was a loyal fan of OU wrestling. Teddi was married to A. Lester Haizlip, OKC, June 12, 2001, in Maui, HI. She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Danette Stanko, OKC; her mother and father, Verna and Robert Gordon, OKC; her brothers, Ronald Stanko, OKC, Gary Gordon, Denver, Wayne Gordon, Phoenix; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to The Light Church, c/o Gordon Ministries, PO Box 186, Bethany, OK 73008. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at First Church of the Nazarene of OKC. A private interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. MERCER-ADAMS
