Evansville, Ind.
Thelma A. Nall, 86, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017.
She was born December 31, 1930, to the late Zacharia and Emma (Parr) Turpen, in Rockport, Ind.
She lived in Rockport, Ind., for six years of her young life with her grandmother, Ella Parr. Thelma then moved to Evansville to live with her mother and siblings. She graduated from Central High School. Thelma retired from McLean Trucking and Deaconess Hospital. She was a longtime member of Eastside Christian Church. Thelma was a member of FOE. Eagles, SWIRCA Bridge Club and she was an avid line dancer.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Norman Schmitt and Edsel Nall; brothers, Charles, Joe, Ralph and Robert; sister, Margaret Kaho; and sons-in-law, Ronald Boarman and Danny Kastle.
Thelma is survived by daughters, Cathy (Mike) Bredhold, Julia Kastle, Norma Boarman, all of Evansville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Campbell and Delores McGary.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Randy Owens, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2017, and 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

I met Thelma when she walked into my salon in the early 1990's. She was my client and friend for some time. She was such a pleasure to be with. I have seen her over the last couple of years and she was still a delight to talk too. She is a great loss to everyone. The great memories of her will comfort you forever!!
