Helfgot, Sylvia 95; beloved wife of the late Milton; loving mother of Saul (Barbara) and Alvin (Gail); cherished grandmother of Julie (Bill) Fredricksen, Michael and Barry Helfgot and Jennifer (Matt) Mandel; devoted great-grandmother of Marley and Makenzie; dear sister of the late Dan, Rose and Jake. Chapel service today, 3 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Our sincere condolences on the death of your Mother. We last saw her back at the beginning of the year and she was still a vibrant woman. She was likely the last surviving member of our extended families.
