Sylvester Connolly Obituary
Connolly, Sylvester George "Red" 79 of Park Ridge passed away May 16, 2004. Loving husband of the late Anne (nee Shaughnessy), dear father of Thomas (Laura), the late Margaret Mary, the late John Aloysious, Daniel (Magdalene), Julia McCreevy, Patricia Connolly, Anne Connolly, Joseph and Martin, proud grandfather of Sean and Agatha, fond brother of John (Cal), Robert (Catherine), and the late Thomas, and Bernard (Patricia), dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Prayers Friday, 9:15 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., at (Cumberland), Park Ridge, proceeding to St. Paul of the Cross Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Memorials to Misericordia/Heart of Mercy Center, 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, 60660, appreciated. Our deepest condolensces on the loss of Red. He will be remembered especially at our Friday luncheons at the Red Apple. Also a Mass will be said for him in Pennsylvania by a retired priest who is our cousin. God Bless you in this sad time.
