Dear Richard (Dick as I knew you in Tucson), Colleen and Timothy. I had tried to find out what happened to Suzie years ago. She, Cathy, Lenora and I were VERY best friends from 6th grade through graduation. How sad I was to hear that she passed away. Your family was a huge part of my formative years and Cathy Randall (Peterson)and I have wonderful memories of that time in our lives. Our sincere sympathy and heart felt prayers. I am just so sorry that I have only now found out what happened to an old and dear friend!

Dear friends and family of Suzie...I live in Tucson and just saw the notice about Suzie on Sunday. Please accept my condolences about Suzie. I have known her since she was in her very late teens/early 20's. She was a joy to be around, one of the funniest people I have had the pleasure to know. I had the occasion to visit her in Chicago as well over the years, as I went there once or twice a year on business. I swear she was always the same fun lady. At that time she lived close to Halstead and Armitage if memory serves.
Sam, I don't know you, but you should consider yourself a lucky guy, to know her as well as you did.
If anyone reads this, especially Richard, please feel free to contact me. I'd like to know more about Suzie. I don't think I've seen her for about 15-20 years. The picture they used here in the paper captured her famous smile perfectly.
This event should teach at least one person to keep better track of old friends.

Dear Sam and Susie's family. She will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful person with a lot of Irish charm. Myles and Bryan
