Loving stepfather of David (Jessica Clark) Munzer and Lena Munzer. Cherished grandfather of Claire and Josephine Adams. Dear brother of Dr. Lisa (Dr. Bruce) Bender and Ira (Suzanne) Richer. Fond brother-in-law of Jon (Dr. Randy) Hirschtick and Heide Hirschtick. Adored uncle to many. Funeral service Friday 1:00PM at Weinstein and Piser Funeral Home 111 Skokie Blvd Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Stuart emailed and phoned to encourage my pursuit of a cure for Alzheimers. I am just an email contact from Oklahoma, but Stuart took the time to give me the information that I needed. Such little ways that have had a big impact on important issues. Stuart reminded me of Benjamin Franklin... he had the big picture and a brilliant insight. I hope this cure for Alzheimers works !

I have had the honor of knowing & working with him since 2006 when I joined the VA he was one the most brilliant individual I have ever met & a great friend we had so many wonderful occasions having lunch together & discussing world issues
His patients loved him so did we
