My Dad,
Such a beautiful person that I can never forget, nor have ny regrets about him at all. Over time,he taught me so many things, but the one thing he taught me the most about was that is was ok to be me, and to be sensitive, I even remember him crying when it was the right thing to do. I remember so many things, from him making breakfast when I was just a little person,to taking me to boy scouts, to even telling me when i did wrong, and I never really understood until very recently, only the last few years. But then again, I am the child,he's the parent, and he had all the experience that I only now am starting to acquire.
He is such a strong person. He always was there for us and for my Mom. I don't ever remember then fighting, and when they did, it was always about one of us, never between them, which is why their marriage lasted so long. There was trust, absolute turst, and that is beautiful, and certainly, there is love, the kind you have no doubt about or with. It was truly special, and for that I know my mom(hopefully and God willing not soon!!) will join him, and in their walk through eternity, I know they will cherish each moment as they always have, holding hands, and guiding each other down their paths.
For me, one day, I'll see him again, and have the opportunity to share with him some of my thoughts of the past, the now,and thought to come, for that, I look forward to that. My brothers will be there one day, and we will have all five of us there along with our others as well, all getting to know each other, and doing so again, that time, just will be forever.
My dad was special to me, and in so many ways, I would strive to be like him, to be there for others, and to be the object of mny in the good light that always showered upon him. His light now burns brightly in heaven, that is where he has gone, for that I have faith in, and that I know as he deserved that after living a beautiful life here in this world. How can one now say he achieved, when he did, and he did it all because he stuck to his thoughts, his beliefs, and did everything to the best he could no matter what, no matter if he struck with success, or with not being so successful, but he did do, and for that, i admire him, and for the most of all, my admiration goes to him for accepting me for who I am and for how I am. That is the true test of love, accepting, understanding, and being there when on needs to have someone there. My dad is special, and always has a place in my life especially since he gave that to me, my greatest gift from him, and always has a place in my heart, when each day my heart grows fonder with; his memory. Until then Dad, I love you, and for that I am happy.
Oh, I could have written about so many good times, and so much he has given to me over time, but for my Dad is truly precious, and for that I am thankful I had him as my Dad, I just owe him so much, and I know he never expected anythings in return but my love, which I know her knew he had!!
