Truly unfortunate loss. I had been searching for Steve on the net for quite a few years without success. We were childhood friends and had spent a lot of time together in grammar school. Sad to know that I was unable to meet up with him.
To his family; if Steve stayed the route he was headed back when I knew him, you had yourselves one heck of a strong willed man -protective and willing to go the extra mile to help people he loved.
Truly a shame to know that he is gone but a privilege to have spent time with him ..even if it was for a few years.
