It’s hard to imagine a year has gone by, not a day passes where Steve isn’t in my thoughts. Logan, Sam and especially Max talk about their Papa and how much they loved him. He was a great man, and loved by all.

Steve possessed a truly generous and loving nature which surely infuenced everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him and blessed those who could call him "friend".

Steve exemplified "Good Neighbor Sam", a man who never hesitated should one call upon him for help or advice,(at any hour).

Steve's rare and loving heart was fortified by the love of his family who will be tended by him still. Love does not end, it changes form and he will never be far from you. If you listen, you will hear him. When you need help, he will be there.

He lives forever in our hearts and minds. And, one day, I look forward to seeing him again. I can only imagine what kind of car "heaven" will design for him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Steve touched lives in such positive ways, even if he only met you briefly or saw you occasionally... I'll always remember his smile, such a big grin that he could hardly keep his eyes open at the same time... especially when talking about or playing with those grandsons! Love, Matt (Sheila and Laura) Miller
