Chukas, Sophie (nee Livaditis), 92, of Berwyn, beloved wife of the late Frank, devoted daughter of the late John and Virginia Livaditis, dear sister of the late Jennie (John) Truncale, Patricia (the late Guilford) Higgason, the late Peter J. (Mary) Livaditis, and Mary (Durwood) Morris, beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Godmother of many. Wonderful friend and neighbor to many. Resting at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, (Chris J. Balodinas director), 17W201 Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace, (one blk. west of Rt. 83), on Tuesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Chicago for 10:30 a.m. service. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church appreciated. Info., 630-941-5860.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
