Sophie Banasiak Obituary

Oh my gosh. Sophie and my Mom would talk and talk and belonged to clubs together. I always thought your mom was so pretty. My God keep you safe, Sophie. I think our Mom's worked together, if not, they were from the ole neighborhood.

To the entire Banasiak family, while I did not have the pleasure of meeting Sophie and just learned of her passing, I did have the pleasure of working with Joe over twenty years ago when we worked together with our Community Medicine work family. I am sending my condolences and wish you all prayers & peace in your time of need. May your mother rest in heaven.

We Strandells loved having Sophie in our extended family. She was an interesting and stalwart person who loved her children and grandchildren with all she had. I was fortunate to get to know her when she and i would both be in Vermillion voting Carol and John. She gave me my first lesson on how to make pirogies. We will al miss her spirit but know that it lives on in her amazing family.
