Poteshman, Shirley (nee Koralchick), beloved wife of the late Morris, loving mother of Dr. Norman (Sharon) Poteshman and the late Lowell (the late Judy) Poteshman, fond aunt of Armand (Eleanor) Poteshman, cherished grandmother of Robert Poteshman, Laurence (Alyse) Poteshman, Karen (Sam) Skurie, Michael (Hali) Poteshman, Allen (Sumie Okazaki) Poteshman and Diane (Corey) Borin, dear great-grandmother of Danielle, Jillian, Alexa, Jaclyn, Amanda, Charles, Abigail, Lucy, Joshua, Alyssa and Matthew. Treasured sister of the late Albert Koralchick, Morris Koral, Mary Fagot and Judy Mesirow. Services Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Congregation Bnai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, 901 N. Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL, 60025. Interment Westlawn. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Congregation BJBE or the Les Turner ALS Foundation, 8142 N. Dear Poteshman Family,I am So sorry for the loss of your wonderful grandmother. It has been a long time since I have seen any of you, but the years of doing business with all of the family at "Morry's" were always pleasant and fun. I remember how Shirley was forever knitting or crocheting something wonderful and I always loved asking what it was and who it was for.
