Pierce, Shirley T. (nee Novak), beloved wife of the late Joseph, dear mother of Bruce (Verna) and Wesley (Catherine) Pierce, proud grandmother of Ashley T. and Danielle Pierce; loving sister-in-law of Sophie Pierczynski and Eleanore Fistek; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Parishioner of St. Richard Church, member of various church organizations, 10th Mountain Division Women's Auxillary and Brother Rice and Chicago Minor Hawks Hockey Guilds. Visitation Sunday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from the Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd., (9600 W/Rte. 45) Orland Park, to Our Lady of the Woods Church Mass 10 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum. In memory of Shirley's devotion to St. Therese, memorials directed to the Society of the Little Flower, 1313 Frontage Road, Darien, IL, 60561, are appreciated 708-460-2300.

My most loving wishes for Shirley's children and grandchildren. May you always hold your mom and grandmom in your heart and prayers.

I knew Shirley when she was very young and the last time I spoke to her was on the telephone about 8 years ago.
