Shirley A. Frederick, 66, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, in Norman, Oklahoma. Shirley was born June 22, 1943, in Holly Grove, Arkansas, to Arthur and Katherine McGee. She grew up in Bixby, Oklahoma and graduated from high school there. Shirley married William A. “Bill� Frederick on June 22, 1962, in Bixby, Oklahoma. The family moved to Norman in 1981 where she worked for Sears.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, James and George. Survivors include two sons, Bill Frederick II, Norman and Bruce Frederick and wife, Valerie, of Scottsdale, AZ; three sisters, Margaret Dees and husband, John, and Clara Puckett, all of Yukon, OK; and Martha Ellis and husband, Mike, of Moore, OK; brother, David McGee and wife, Marilyn of Hominy, OK.; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew and wife, Keshia, and Sarah; and great granddaughter, Ciara.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Claud McGee officiating. Interment will follow at the Warren Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
