Goodman, Sheri (nee Friedman), age 67, beloved wife of Melvyn Goodman. Loving mother of Jodi Gershon, Suzi Goodman, and Nanci (Jeffrey) Kaplan. Proud grandmother of Jacob, Ilan, Hannah, and Judah Kaplan. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services Monday, 2:00 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd (1 block N. of Lake-Cook), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. I will always remember Sheri as vivacious and warm. You could feel her zest for life, and you could sense her deep love for her family. I remember trading eMails a few years back, I writing from Israel and Sheri writing from Illinois. How we could connect across the distance and even across the generations using modern means.
We send our love and condolences.
May Sheri's memory be for a blessing.

I met Sheri many years ago as co-workers at Travel Magic. She was a beautiful lady and a shining light to all who knew her.

Sheri, Dana and I grew up together. Our mothers were friends and we were friends. We have memories, good and bad, but we were always held together by history, and love. We were like sisters, always there.
We will miss Sheri very much.
