I learned of Sheldon's passing only a few days ago. I grew up with Sheldon and held him in high regard through our youth and in my heart all my life. He was a special person even back in those days. My heart grieves for your loss and knowing the world is short onespectacular, humorous, clever, bright man. He made my world better while we grew up and I am sure his path through life made many peoples lives much better.

Sheldon was a fine lawyer, and even better, a wonderful person. I worked with him at Schiff when I was a new associate there in the mid-1970s and I remember how kind and supportive he was. Sheldon will be missed. May God comfort you among all the other mourners for Zion and for Jerusalem

My deepest sympathies are with you and your family during this delicate moment in your life. I too learned of Mr. Zabel's passing after watching a very moving episode of ER a few days ago. Though I did not know him personally, any loss is always tragic as I have lost my sister who was only 7 years old. I will keep you in my prayers and God bless you.

I am sorry for your loss. I sincerely pray that God would bless you with peace and a renewed faith that sometimes comes when we greive. I learned about Mr. Zabel after just watching the program ER on 11/13 as they mentioned him in memory at the end. I relate very well with that episode as I too am a mother of a son who's life ended too soon on 7/15/07 at 31 yrs old. I tell you this just to let you know that the grief you feel right now touches my heart.
May God bless you especially now.

Sheldon Zabel was a truly wonderful, warm-hearted man and a brilliant, highly articulate lawyer. I had the pleasure of meeting him and getting to know him when I was at Schiff, just out of law school, too many years ago. Ever since I have had the honor of calling him friend and colleague in the Bar. My sincere condolences to Bobbi and all the family. May God grant you the peace of knowing how much he loved you and still lives in your hearts.

I was so saddened to read of Shelly's
death. I was always so taken with the closeness of your family and
especially your marriage. I know John enjoyed his short visit with you
last year. I hope this is not too difficult time for you. Thinking of
you, Best, Cynthia
