Marie A. Berrigan, nee Dentamaro, 98, of Mt. Prospect. Born October 24, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Nicholas and Lucille Dentamaro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 3, 2026.
Beloved wife of Clayton J. Berrigan, Jr. Loving mother of Judy (Tom) Hund and Kathleen (John) VanDerMeulen. Cherished grandmother of Victoria Paliulis, Lindsey Brown, Jaclyn Mullins, Monica Hill, Jeremy Brown, Jeffrey VanDerMeulen, Colleen O'Donaghue, Renee Berrigan, Kelly Borcherding and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Patricia Jacobson. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Berrigan (Laura), daughter, Therese (Jim) Brown, grandson Daniel Hund and sister, Elizabeth Pacelli.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 10am until time of funeral Mass at 11am at. St. Alphonsus Liguori 411 N. Wheeling Rd. Prospect Heights, IL. Inurnment will be held privately at All Saints Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Alphonsus Liguori in Marie's memory are appreciated.
