Sheila Fay Kollock so peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010.
She was predeceased by her father, Leonard Hyman. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, to Leonard and Leticia Hyman. In the early 1950s, Shelia moved from Kingston, Jamaica, to Vineland. She also went on to graduate with honors and received her bachelor's degree in microbiology from the Franklin Institute Medical College in Philadelphia.
Elmore Luke Kollock and Sheila Fay Hyman were joined together as one on June 4, 1966, "an everlasting love brought together by God." To this union, two beautiful daughters were born, Denise Ginger Kollock and Stephanie S. Kollock. She was employed by Atlantic City Hospital, Burdette Tomlin Hospital in Cape May Court House and Newcomb Hospital in Vineland as a microbiologist. Sheila was a true Christian, loved God and worshipped him to the fullest. She always looked for the best in everyone, and if she knew you, she would bring out the best in you. She also loved gardening, cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her family.
Sheila leaves her fondest memories to her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Luke Elmore Kollock; two daughters, Denise Ginger Kollock of Ventnor and Stephanie S. My mother was my best friend. She knew all of me and was more then a mother could be and so much more. My heart is broken when I saw her take her last breath of life in my father's arms. My parents were so in love with each other, of all the people in the world God picked the best mother and father to share my life. I love you always Mommy love Denise

Dear Luke & Family:
May the Lord Jesus give you strength to endure during your time of sorrow. Look up to Him & let Him sustain you. I lost my son June 11th due to a heart attack so I know what you're going through. I remember your wedding as I caught Sheila's bouquet. God Bless You All.

I have known Sheila through her daughter Dennise. Dennise was a buyer at Caesars and Black Tiger Company was one of the seafood distributors to Atlantic City. When I was diagnosised with breast cancer in 2002, Dennis told her Mom. Sheila called me even I didn't quite know her yet. She introduced herself and shared with me her experience of being a breast cancer fighter and survivor. She told me to leave everything to God's hand. Yes- she truly brought out the best of people. I loveed to see her joyful and peaceful face when she talked to me. She truly had a unique way about life.
We all come to the end of life- but for Sheila- she lighted up life for people around her including me.
You will be missed, Sheila!!
With condolence to your whole family.

Luke and Family, God has called another beloved child home. We rejoice in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; 2 Corinthians 5:7-9 (King James Version)
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
