Marion, Ben, Chris & Jeremy,
We so wish we could have come last Tuesday. Although we didn't spend as much time with Scott (or the rest of you) as we would like, every time we did it was special. He had such warmth in the way he spoke to people and in his smile. The rest of you have shown that same loving spirit every time we've ever been with you. Please accept our heartfelt feelings of sadness over losing Scotty. You were truly blessed with a great father and husband. Auntie Char was always very special to me and I felt that same kind of connection every time I saw Scott. We love you more than you realize. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will be in touch soon.

Dear Mich Family,
I remember meeting Scott for the first time in 1985 at an old building in Chicago where his father and grandfather had conducted business for many years. Scott had been ordering some things from the company I was with, so one day on a trip to Chicago I thought it was time to put a face to a voice, so I went to see him. From that time and in subsequent years, he was always pleasant to be around and so kind and gentle in manner. A great guy.
Even though the words seem inadequate, please accept my deepest sympathies.

Dear Marion,Ben,Christopher,and Jeremy,

We have so many great memories of all of you. Although we have been separated by a great distance for many years, we have always kept you in our hearts. A picture of Jeremy, Adam, and Davis Jr on your front walk has been on our refrigerator since we left Mundelein in 1996. A constant reminder of all the good times we had together.

My favorite memory and the one I will carry with me is of the time you came to visit us in Erie with the "Robin's Egg Blue" buick in tow. Scott took me for a spin in that beautiful "like new" car. Scott was so proud as we drove around the Penninsula and everyone waved or honked the horn in admiration of that awesome automobile!!! Scott was a kind and gentle soul with a warm smile and a kind word for everyone. It was an honor to have him as a friend.

He was the epitomy of a husband and a father. He will be sorely missed! May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

Love

Although the Mich Company has been at their Woodale store for some years, I'll always remember Scott from the Chicago & Halsted location. For years, I thought this mild mannered guy behind a back desk was the bookeeper.
Only by chance one day, did I discover he was "the Guy". A friend and always fair, and a "Car Guy" too! I'll miss seeing him.

I know he's went to a better place, and he's waving down on us right now, and you gotta know, he's wavin' from a Buick.

Gonna miss ya' man.

Losing Scott has saddened us and we give our sincere condolences to Scott’s family and friends. Scott and I met on a more personal level a couple of years ago at a car show although our businesses had worked together for many years. We had so much more to talk about, you will be missed Scott.

I have known Scott for over 20 years, back when EMC was on Peoria up in the top floor of the building (Sure got hot/cold up there didn't it Tom/Greg?). I met Scott in 1981 when I was a new entrepreneur on the southside of Chicago. The EMC company was based out of a loft warehouse in Chicago at Halsted & Chicago Streets. He had a big Jimmy Hendrix type hairdo :)

He helped me with stick on sign lettering for my storefront window. I knew he was a special and kind person then. We talked for a while and his insight to this day has helped me with other signage issues I have experienced. I last saw him about 2 years ago at the Wood Dale location. I talked to him briefly and told him he had matured well. We talked about his transition from big hair to little hair. We both laughed.

To his family, he was a fine human being and had great passion for what he did professionally. I am sorry for your lost of him at such a young age.

God Bless your family. You will be in my prayers.

I am very sorry for your loss, Scott was a good man. These last 10 years working for him have been the best years. He treated me more than just an employee he treated me like family, I will miss him dearly.
