To all the members of the Soan Family:
The entire Fenwick family joins you as you wish farewell to this matriarch. I am sure she will be deeply missed. You can count on the prayers of the Dominicans and all Friars everywhere.
Thank you for remembering Fenwick at this time and so much over the years. Now Phil and his mother will both watch over our work here.

Grandma thank you for providing such a strong root for our families to build on. Your family is forever growing and strengthening that very root. I feel very lucky to have been part of your legacy. Please give Mom a hug for me and rest in peace. Will cherish St. Patrick's Day even more now.Love, Jim, Patti & Jimmy Heintz

To the Sloan Family and dear friends of Ann Sloan:
Mrs. Sloan, Ann, I will miss you very much. You and I shared
many special moments together, in many happy, joyful occasions, as well as, in moments of sorrow.
I, too, was very proud to know you as the grandmother of my special nieces and nephews: Brendan John, Ann Margaret,
Maureen Rose, James Patrick, and Kathleen Elizabeth.
You were also special to Ann and Glen, Maureen and Wally, Jim and Patti, and Katie and Dave.
You were a very special great-grandmother to my dear nephews and nieces Danny, Patrick, and Deidre Bowie, Kaylie and Rachel
Katoll, and "our little man" Jimmy Heintz.
You will be a legacy to all the new little Heintz's and Sloans that come along in the future. I have no doubt you will have a special Irish hand and love in that. All the above have truly been blessed with your love.
My family loved you very much as you loved them. I have a picture of you and my dear Aunt Marguerite Slocumb together
that I am looking at right now. We were blessed with a wonderful family and extended family. Thank you Ann for your special
friendship.
Rest in peace as the Angels lead you into paradise.
My love and condolences to you all.

What neat memories you all have. I told Brendan the other day, that it was wonderful that he could look back with great humor at the same time mourning her passing. I hope the wake and services evoke this same feeling. Condolences to all of the family!

Brendan...you have my deepest and most sincere condolences on the death of your grandmother. What a fine person (or perhaps a saint) she must have been to have all those children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. God truly blessed her! And now she is a better place with your Mom catching her up on you and all the rest of the family!

Our hearts are heavy today and we'll miss you, Ann.
It has been my privilege to be a friend of the Sloan family since 1952 when you moved to Midway Park and I met your son Andy. Our relationship deepened when I became a son-in-law by marrying your daughter Kathleen in 1960.
We were both very proud to have you, Ann, and Barney as loving grandparents to each of our five children.
In recent years, it has meant a great deal to me that you and Anne Carney developed a Celtic bond and enjoyed many a chat at family gatherings. What happy memories we have of your visit to our home on a sunny day last July.
May you rest in peace.

Well, the day we all thought would never come arrived. Thankfully peacefully. A full life you lived Grandma and now you can be with Grandpa, Mom, and Philip who've all waited patiently for you to join them for that cup of tea and Irish Soda bread.
You left a dynasty/legacy in your wake.
