Dear Takiff family,
I just wanted to let you know that not a day goes by that I don't think of Sandy... especially Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9 am! I have soooo many memories of fun and definitely interesting hours spent with Sandy! I always warned him that one day I would write a book about his antics! Our whole family loved Sandy. He was always so thoughtful and generous to all of us. I am blessed to have these memories. Our deepest sympathies go out to all of you. May you be comforted in some way with your own happy memories, and know how much he was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him.
You are all in our prayers...

Dear Mrs. Takiff,
I was out of town when I learned of Sandy’s death. My most sincere condolences to you and the entire Takiff family.
Sandy was a friend and mentor. ‘Sage advisor’ best describes him, along with having a large dose of humor and generosity. Sandy and I first met in and around 1987. After a ten year absence, we became reacquainted at James Coulos, Sr.’s funeral. He immediately asked about my business and began to advise me, my partner and our management staff. His advice and financial assistance put us back on track within a six month period. How do you thank someone for helping save your livelihood?
I will truly miss picking up the phone to receive 'Sandyisms' on any number of topics.
The Bible states “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required”. You and Sandy have met all of God’s requirements.
If we can ever be of service, in any way, to you and your family, it would be an honor. Again, our utmost sympathies to you and your family.

Alan, Margot and Emily were moved today by the outpouring of respect, support and love for Sandy. Marvin`s comment of the 12 grandchildren being Sandy`s "dividend" was true. May your, the family`s and our community`s memories of Sandy be blessed forever.
