Byer, Sandra "Sandy" (nee Spiegel), 70; beloved mother of Scott (Kim), Debbi (Paul) Behnke and Ilene (Ken) Newfield; cherished grandmother of Amber (Chad) Dauzat, Stephen and Whitney Byer, Bill and Jacob Behnke, Tony, Brian and Nathan Gauger, Danny and Nicole Newfield; beloved great-grandmother of Kylie; devoted daughter of the late Jack and Faye Spiegel; dear sister of the late Harvey (Marilyn) Spiegel. Chapel service Thursday, 10 a.m., at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. We're sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. The word has been passed throughout the Fogel clan. I'm also sorry that we've all lost touch with you since we last talked and saw each other so many years ago in Phoenix. Our thoughts are with you and your families.
