Aucunas, Sandra Lu (nee Rawlings), 61, of Wilmette, passed away August 15, 2005, cherished sister of Jeanne (the late Richard) Winter, Georgia and Ted (Chris) Rawlings and Debbie (DeWitt) Sayles, devoted aunt of Michael Winter, Michelle "Sissy" Greene, Joe (Isabel), Bill, Tim and Carla Rawlings, Heather and Lindsey Sayles, Aaron and Darius Adams and Brandon, Matthew and Christin Aucunas, loving great-aunt of Christina Greene and Jenny and Adriana Rawlings, dearest niece of Jack and Ted (Dorothy) Rawlings and Betty (Robert) Martin, fond cousin of Karen and Paul (Francine) Martin and Nancy, Susan, Michael and Mark Rawlings, loving daughter-in-law of Jean Aucunas and sister-in-law of Dan (Stefanie) Aucunas and Charlene (Glen) Moore. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 21st, 3 p.m., at the Community Church of Wilmette, 1020 Forest Ave., Wilmette. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial & Honor Program, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, VA, 22038. Arrangements by: Wm. H. I was so shocked to see Sandy's death notice in the Wilmette Life today. My deepest sympathy to your family on your sudden loss. Sandy was a wonderful person. I will miss her so much, and I will always be grateful for the kindness and friendship that she gave to me over the years. "I love you Sandy, and I will always remember you".
