I am so sorry that I learned too late of Sam's passing to pay my respects in person. I first met Sam when I was a young typist working for the Police Dept at the old Area 6. He was so kind and patient with me and I learned a great deal from his skills. I eventually became a CPD police detective myself and will always be grateful for Sam's mentoring. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your family's loss.
