Nuccio Jr., Salvatore J. beloved husband of Lana Rae (nee Mungai); fond father of Salvatore Joseph Nuccio III "Sonny" (Dana), Vincent A. Nuccio (Fiancee Courtney Slanicky) and Rae Ellen Nuccio (Fiance Kory Gutrich); loving grandfather of Danny Nuccio; dear brother of Joseph (Nancy) Nuccio and Ann Nuccio; brother-in-law of Ed Bobowski (Teri Terrzino) and Nadine (late Lee) Mungai; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Thirty year retired school teacher and coach, Catholic Church school system. Proud owner of Subway restaurant in Orland Hills. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m., from the Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd. (9600W/Rt. 45), Orland Park, to St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 N. Halsted, Suite 201, Chicago, IL. 60622, would be appreciated. 708-460-2300
