Sally was my hero. Helped the challenged community find a voice thru her work with Legal Aid. Was a thoughtful and loving wife and one of the best Mothers I have ever met. I miss her deeply.

To Sally's family.
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Sally's death. We were classmates for 6 years at John Burroughs School and shared playing hockey together and also shared hair color, though hers was redder than mine. More important, we were really good friends, laughed together, and played on the same hockey team. I will hold dear many wonderful memories.
I wish you all peace, and send love.

Dear Billy,
I am so sorry to hear about Sally's death and your loss of a wonderful sister and kindred soul. I am glad that Roger keeps those of us in the diaspora informed as old childhood friends mean so much. I am very sad about your loss and send my deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family.

Sally was a dear friend of her classmates at Smith College's Morris House. We celebrate and miss her, and we remember her as brilliant, brave, funny, smart, energetic, enthusiastic, independent, triumphant, adventuresome, warm, generous, fun-loving, courageous, cheerful, the best, impressive and proud of all of her three men. Sally often declared that life was "fabulous" (sometimes abbreviated as "fab.") She was certainly a fabulous part of it all. With love from Lynn Bickley, Augusta Burwell Arthur, Nancy Gordon Todd, Helen Hui, Blanid Keller Palatucci, Hazel Martin Willacy, Nancy Poffenberger Mogielnicki, Margie Reynolds Mackell, Deborah Takiff Smith and Betsy Woodman.
