I praise the LORD for the memory of my dear grandmother. I will always be grateful for her guidance in my life to keep me on the path toward becoming more like Christ. More than once she would ask me and my friends, "Son, do you love the Lord Jesus?" She always encouraged us to tell the truth. Both Grandmother Sadie and my mother, Arie Lavonia, pointed me toward Jesus Christ with their words and by their life example. I know without a doubt that I will see them again in heaven because of the saving faith we put in the shed blood of Christ on the cross. Because He rose from the dead and is alive in heaven, we shall live also with Him in glory. I will always be grateful that my mom and grandmother brought me to Jesus Christ. I continue their legacy by telling my own children about them and their wonderful God. My daughter, Hannah, has already accepted Christ as her savior. I pray that Christopher and Abigail will receive Him also when they get older. Judy and I pray for those who have not yet received that precious free gift of eternal life to repent and confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour. As my grandmother would say, "Bless the Lord!" I give all the glory and thanks for everything good in my life to the mercy and grace of God. May God continue to bless you, your family, our troops on the battlefield, our President G.W.Bush, and God Bless America!
