Ruthie Taylor Obituary

LANHAM, Md. - Mrs. Ruthie B. Taylor, formerly of Edgemoor, S.C., passed away June 18, 2010, at Doctor's Community Hospital in Lanham, Md.

Ruthie was the daughter of the late Clarence and Maggie Brice Barber of Rock Hill, S.C. Ruthie was an honor graduate at Finley High school in Chester, S.C., and attended business school in Washington, D.C.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (Bridgid) Taylor and Keith Taylor of Lanham, Md.; one sister, Janie (William) Howze of Edgemoor; a brother, Clarence (Lorine) Barber of Rock Hill; uncles, L.C. (Alice) Barber of Edgemoor, James Barber of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Hezekiah Hart of Rock Hill; aunts, Annie Buckson of Edgemoor, Minnie Augurs of Rock Hill, Mary Jackson of Washington, D.C., and Ruth Frazier of Alton, Ill.

Ruthie also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and caring friends.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, at St. Stephen Baptist Church in Temple Hills, Md. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Md. Visitation will be from 10 am. until the hour of service at the church.
