Ruth Stewart Obituary

My memories of Ruth go back to the Donovan days. My sister, Eileen Donovan, married Ruth's brother Dick.She was packed with energy and determination. Her hurring days are now over. My special feelings of sympathy go out to the Donovans and Peggy Chisholm. Very Sincerely, Helen and Dick Murphy

I remember Ruth Stewart when she lived in Owatonna -- she and my mother were good friends. In fact, when my sister was married in 1974, Ruth opened her home to my uncles, aunts, and cousins from Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee -- and she went out of town for the week. It was a generous gesture -- my mother was very ill and could not have had company in her home (she died two weeks later). I know my mother appreciated Ruth's generosity and sacrifice. I'm glad to know that she lived such a long and valued life.
