DAVIS, Ruth E. age 91, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 21, 2005 at Appalachia Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky. She was born on January 12, 1914 in Letcher County, Kentucky the daughter of Millard and Ida (Hicks) Rice. She was a member of the Lothair Baptist Church in Hazard, Kentucky and of DAR. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Wilbur. She is survived by her children, Clifford W. Davis of Hazard, Kentucky, Joan L. (Earl) Adams of Columbia, S.C., John (Pat) Davis of Miamisburg, Edith A. (Don) Stacy of Huber Heights, Joe H. Davis of Miamisburg, Brenda L. (James) Bailey of Hazard, Kentucky and Patricia R. (David) Barnett of Springboro; 2 brothers Carl Rice of Albany, KY, Charles Rice of Monroe, MI; 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro with Reverend Travis Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Please visit www.andersonfuneralhomes.com to share a memory in the family guest book.
