Ruth Clatterbuck Obituary

Ruth F. Clatterbuck (nee Wilson) passed away peacefully on Dec. 27, 2012 at age 95. Born in Wyoming County, Pa, she was the daughter of Mary A. and Robert S. Wilson. After graduating from high school she moved to Yeadon, Pa where she met and married the late William W. Clatterbuck. She lived and worked in King of Prussia from 1958 to 2007 when she relocated to Virginia Beach, VA.
She was the loving mother of Lois J. McDonald (Bob) of Virginia Beach, VA and June R. Riling (Larry) of Bridgeport, PA.
She is the grandmother of Michael A. McDonald (Tracy), Joseph L. Riling and the late Scott T McDonald. She is the great-grandmother of Katherine A. and Lindsey G. McDonald
Ruth was the sister of Roberta Taylor, Lois Frantz, Paul Wilson, Saxon Wilson, and the late Bruce Wilson, Betty Morris, and Arthur Wilson. She leaves behind countless nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed reading, oil painting, playing the piano and playing various card and board games with family and friends. She taught Sunday school for many years and read her Bible daily.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ruth's Funeral Service on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Boyd-Horrox of Norristown, 200 W. Germantown Ave., 610-277-7000. Interment will follow Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to The American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila., PA 19103. To share your fondest memory of Ruth, please visit www.lifecelebration.com.
