Russell Patrick Obituary

Russell M. Patrick, 95, of Martinsville, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010. He was born on October 29, 1914 in West Point, IN to Elvin Wallace and Lillie Amelia Patrick. Russell attended Purdue University and worked as a tool designer for Naval Avionics in Indianapolis for 25 years. He was a member of the Speedway Christian Church, the Scottish Rite and Speedway Lodge 729 F & A. M. Russell enjoyed cabinet making and was a stained glass artisan. He is survived by his daughter, Rev. Dr. Linda Patrick (Rebecca Phelps); brothers, Ralph W. and Wilbur S. Patrick; grandchildren, Ida Rachael Rapacz, Seth Patrick Rosebrock, Brenda Patrick; great-grandchildren, Sophia Rose, Alexander Patrick and Gryphon Edward. Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Patrick; brother, Harold F. Patrick; sister, Lillie Elvin Martin. Funeral services will be conducted at the West Point United Methodist Church in West Point, IN on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11am. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery.
