To The Family of Russ McCallister,
I was very sorry to read that Russ had passed away. I know Russ from his very extensive work at Highland Community Bank in Chicago. We spent many hours in the evening with me explaning what I wanted the program to do and him making it happen so easily. He and Doug Sutphin, who died several years ago, were great partners and worked very well together. Russell was a great programmer and just when you thought he was so technical and businesslike without feelings, he would speak of his daughters so passionately that you knew he loved them dearly. Again, I am very sorry for your loss. God bless you all. As Russell would have said about his passing so early, "This does not compute".

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Russ. I worked with him in the 80's and 90's and visited with him when he lived on Kenilworth in Oak Park and Lake Street in River Forest. He was a good man and good to have as a friend.
