Russel HyrumJensen 11/ 2/15 ~ 1/3/03  Russel Hyrum Jensen, 87, passed away January 3, 2003. Born Nov 2, 1915 Sugar City, ID. Parents, Franklin and Sarah Maude Jacobs Jensen. Graduated South High. Married Ruth Elaine Eakle May 18, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Russel was very talented as a tool maker, skilled mechanic, a farmer, coal miner, truck driver, and a wonderful storyteller. He could drill a well, build a barn, and teach grandchildren to drive before their time. In his younger years he was active in Scouting and the Young Men's program. He leaves behind his wife; three children, Jolene (Bud) Harr, Cedar Hills, Darrell (Cheryl) Jensen, Juneau, Ak, Pam (Dana) Whelan, Centerville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be Tues. Jan 7, 2003, 2 p.m. Redwood Memorial, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services at Red-wood.
