Ruby Izui Obituary

Izui, Ruby Chizuko

At the age of 99 years and 9 months, Ruby Izui (née Tashima) quietly left this life on April 22, 2025. Some 80 years ago, she resettled in Chicago by way of the Minidoka (Idaho) War Relocation Center and Portland, Oregon; met and married her husband, the late George Kiyoshi Izui; and, over the years, parented three children: Karen (Neil) Kanemoto, Peter (Laura Muraoka), and Charles (Christine). They, along with grandchildren Robin Kanemoto and Jason and Allison Izui, survive her, as do many nieces, nephews, and friends.
