Silver, Ruben M. age 82, beloved husband of the late Gladys (nee Jacobs), loving father of Michael (Mary), Roberta (Lewis Jacobson) and Renee Blaine, devoted grandfather of Melanie (Levi) Oliphant, Aaron and Jacob Silver, Jason and Rachel Blaine, dear brother of Shirley (the late Louis) Silverman and the late Marion (the late Harry) Zimmerman. Funeral Friday, 10:30 a.m., at The Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, (1 blk. North of Old Orchard Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Chicago. For twelve years I worked with Ruben in his store. I cherish many memories of that time. He was an amazing man to work for and a dear friend to me and my son. God bless him.
