Michaelsen Jr., Roy D. 87 years, U.S. Army Veteran. Longtime resident of the Brighton Park neighborhood, passed away October 16, 2016. Beloved son of the late Roy H. Michaelsen and Marie D. Vaicekauskas; fond brother of Lorraine (late Joseph) and the late Robert (late Beverly); cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Roy was a supervisor in a printing shop for the railroad. Proud member of the American Legion Post#271. Visitation Monday, October 24, 2016, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S. Mozart St., Chicago. Funeral Service Tuesday, October 25, prayers at 9:00 a.m. at funeral home, proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church, for 10:00 a.m. Mass, 4400 S. California, Chicago, followed by interment in St. Casimir Cemetery.
