Dear Chisholm family, it is with deepest regret that I learn of Ross's passing. I only had the privilege of meeting this kind cousin of mine for the first time a year ago April and found him to be the most interesting man with so much family lore to share. I am very grateful for the time we all spent together that day. My deepest sympathy to each of you at this difficult time. Weather permitting, I will be joining you tomorrow for the service. God's blessings to each of you.

On behalf of the volunteers at The Field Museum, I send our love and sympathy to the family. Ross was a great volunteer! His interest in paleontology excited the visitors and fellow volunteers. We all will miss Ross, and will keep wonderful memories of him.

Ross was a great and true friend. Those of us who were fellow Parker High graduates valued his friendship and generous spirit. From 1994 until he became ill he was a vital participant in all aspects of our Alumni group. He was loved and will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to Phyllis and his children and grandchildren.
