Rose Perry Obituary

PERRY Mrs. Rose Marie Perry, age 68 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Sunday, May 14, 2006, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born December 29, 1937, at Taos, Mo., the daughter of Hugo Henry and Hilda Bruns Talken. She was married June 27, 1970, at Jefferson City, Mo., to Donald Robert Perry, who survives of the home. She had attended the parochial schools at Taos, Mo. and the Fatima High School at Westphalia, Mo. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She had been employed at Woolworth's Store, Oberman Manufacturing Company, International Shoe Company, and in 1965, she went to work for the Missouri Department of Revenue, where she had been employed until her retirement of this year. She is survived by her husband of the home. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred Talken and Gregory Talken. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday morning, May 18, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Patrick Dolan officiating. Interment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.

i didnt know what to say earlier about rosie, i have worked with her off and on since 1979 at dor. she was a wonderful lady. she always smiled and said hello each time i seen her. i will miss her smile and warm voice. my thoughts and prayers are with you. joyce vaught

Rosie was a wonderful person who had such a great sense of humor, she was like an angel. All I see now is her empty chair in front of me and I miss her presence. She will be missed dearly by her co-workers and friends. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. God Bless.

I worked with Rose for 10yrs at the Dept of Revenue. I enjoyed her presence very much. She was always happy and pleasant to be around. I know I will miss her and she will be missed dearly.
