Rose McEvoy, 85, a resident for 11 years of Auburn, Massachusetts, formerly of New York City, an employee of the New York City Hospital system for many years before her retirement, died at St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, on Friday, December 28, 2001. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, December 31, 2001, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, at the funeral home. Mass will be offered on Monday, 11 a.m, at St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
