Dear Marty and Chucky,
As your mom's death anniversary approaches, I want you to know that Rosie has been in my mind and heart. I miss her very much and think of her often. I hope you boys both are working and are able to meet the challenges of each day. May God's comfort bring you peace especially on October 30th.

I only knew rose for a very very short while, she had a beautiful personality to go along with her big beautiful smile. I didn't know her very well, but she left a good impression on me. I will always remember her, and her words of wisdom.

When Rose entered the convent, I was assigned to be her angel. I still remember her big smile. My prayers go out to her family.

When I think of Rosie theirs allot of things that come to my mind. I want to say all them but there only so much time. Rose was amazing person as we all can see. She was a teacher, a sister, a wife, a mother but much more to me. I was her son and even though she has two we shared a special bond that no one else knew. And I want to be selfish, I want to be mean and I want to keep her all to myself but that just isn't me. I knew what she would have wanted; I knew what she wouldn't have said. She would have wanted me to be strong, not one tear to be shed. Because she was the strongest, the strongest person I knew. But now she's in heaven looking down on of all of you. With smile on her face and warmth in heart she knows she will be missed the minute she departs. She lives on in hearts in our souls and in our minds, she was amazing, she was beautiful she was one of a kind. I could go on forever, I really truly could, but here is the real sad part I don't think I should. So now we can lay her down to rest, so now she can be at peace, here is the hardest part of all well for me at least. Because there is no reason to cry, no reason to be sad, her memory lives on even when times are this bad. I love you so much you were my mother, you were my friend, you are everything to me, more than can even be said. I hate to say goodbye, I hate to leave like this but it is your time to go your time to be at rest.

Words can't express my sadness at hearing of the passing of Rose. What a positive force she was--her constant smile and optimistic outlook on life. Rest in peace my dear--you will be missed.

Rosie,

My heart hurts. It does not make sense to me why you are gone. I am so honoured to be your cousin, to have known you, and to have spent time with you. And most of all, to have learned to smile a little more, laugh a little more often, and always love those close to me. One day, in some form or fashion, I know I will see you again.

My love always,

~ Mia

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:.. a time to be born, and a time to die; A time to be happy, and a time to be sad; A time to laugh, and a time to weep; She taught many years at Chicago Public Schools and retired just last year. She died way too soon. I will miss joking with you Rosie.
