Rose Colantonio Obituary

Colantonio, Rose Beloved wife of the late Dominic died June 18 in the presence of her nephew Joseph Gatto, her longtime confidant and business and domestic manager. Rose was the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, and the dear friend of Delores Gentile, John Spiekerman, and Jackie & Jim Kamienski. She was especially beholden to her constant companion and major helper these last 14 months, Rhoda Aguilos. Visitation will take place in the Baptistery of Queen of All Saints Basilica Catholic Church, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave., Chicago on Friday at 10:30 am followed by mass at 11:30 am. Interment will be at Maryhill Cemetery immediately thereafter, followed by lunch at the House of the White Eagle which is nearby the cemetery. A major thank you to Smith-Corcoran for the funeral arrangements and a sincere appreciation to the Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Centre for their thoughtful and compassionate care for Rose these past two months.
