I was privileged to have seen the Dixie Cups (and Joe Jones) with they toured U.S. Military Bases in Vietnam. They were gracious enough to meet after their show in Phan Thiet, Vietnam (Septimus 1966) for taking a photo with them. God Bless

Rosa was a loving and talented person who shared her love for people and her talent. She shared her love and talent in many ways but especially as the leader of the Dixie Cups by participating in benefits for the less fortunate. Rosa is a New Orleans legend. Her life is a celebration of all the good she has done for others. She is now a member of the heavenly choir and will be for all eternity. Rest in peace, Rosa. We love you.
