Weigand, Ronald C. age 69, of Schererville, IN, passed away Saturday December 26, 2009. Survived by: wife: Maureen of 46 years; seven children: Tammy (David) Bougher of Dyer, IN, Ronald (Robin Cope) Weigand of Steger, IL., Stephen (Deanna) Weigand of Bradley, IL., Daniel Weigand of Dakota, IL., William (Kimberly) Weigand of Hobart, IN, Robert Weigand of Stockton, IL, Christina (Michael) Duran of Merrillville, IN; twenty-six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister: Judy (John) Kircik of Illinois; sister-in-law: Jacquelyn Weigand of Chicago Ridge, IL. Preceded in death by parents: Fred and Mary Weigand and brother: Fred. Ron was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and was a retired truck driver for Midwest Terminal Services in Chicago, IL with 29 years of service. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #705 IB of T and a graduate of DeLaSalle High School. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville, IN, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 am. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1 W. Wilhelm St., Schererville, IN., with Rev. Martin J. Dobrzynski officiating. At rest St. Michael's Cemetery, Schererville, IN. I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Ron's passing. I'm sorry I can't be there for his services. I know how much my parents enjoyed their time with Uncle Ron and Aunt Maureen out at the campground, playing cards and enjoying the country. My deepest condolences.
