Survived by: wife: Maureen of 46 years; seven children: Tammy (David) Bougher of Dyer, IN, Ronald (Robin Cope) Weigand of Steger, IL., Stephen (Deanna) Weigand of Bradley, IL., Daniel Weigand of Dakota, IL., William (Kimberly) Weigand of Hobart, IN, Robert Weigand of Stockton, IL, Christina (Michael) Duran of Merrillville, IN; twenty-six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister: Judy (John) Kircik of Illinois; sister-in-law: Jacquelyn Weigand of Chicago Ridge, IL. Preceded in death by parents: Fred and Mary Weigand and brother: Fred. Ron was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and was a retired truck driver for Midwest Terminal Services in Chicago, IL with 29 years of service. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #705 IB of T and a graduate of DeLaSalle High School.
