Your zest for life, your upbeat attitude, and your overwhelming generosity will always be remembered. Your life was too short and not always fair but your outlook always remained positive. You have left us too soon Ron. Every time I pick up my guitar I will think of you. I'll always cherish the memories of our jam sessions together. Your signature rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" was always a treat to listen to. If there's a rock and roll heaven, well you know they've got one hell of a band. Now you can teach Jimmy Hendrix and Jerry Garcia your original "My EBDA". May you rest in peace. Marty

I met Ron through my college roommate Marty Tew who had known him for years.
I remember one of his visits to Winona and an early morning wake up call he
provided . After a late night Ron woke up early and hooked up his guitar
to Marty's stack of Peavey amps that was in our bedroom. He proceeded to
do a note by note rendetion of "The Star Spangled Banner" Jimi Hendrix style.
I laugh now thinking about it but right then I was less charitable. Ron just stood there smiling. It was I must say mighty
impressive and something I'll always remember him for. Peace Ron.
